TECOSIM Showcases Expanded Portfolio at automotive CAE Grand Challenge 2025

TECOSIM, a platinum sponsor at the automotive CAE Grand Challenge 2025, will present its significantly broadened service portfolio at Stand 2 during the accompanying exhibition. This expansion follows TECOSIM’s integration into Hinduja Tech Ltd. in late 2024, enabling the company to offer a comprehensive suite of engineering and R&D technologies. The event, held at Congress Park Hanau on April 8-9, will also feature TECOSIM’s reseller offerings for pSeven and Amazon DCV software solutions.

TECOSIM Joins Forces with Hinduja Tech
The acquisition by Hinduja Tech, a global mobility-focused engineering and R&D technology provider, has empowered TECOSIM to extend its service offerings across powertrains, body engineering, vehicle integration, virtual validation, embedded electronics, and digital technologies. “This expanded portfolio positions us to strategically support our clients with comprehensive, future-ready solutions,” states Dr Torben Birker, Managing Director of TECOSIM GmbH. The integration also introduces TECOSIM to its sister company, Drive System Design (DSD), a UK and US-based engineering consultancy renowned for propulsion systems engineering powered by various energy types.

Partnerships with pSeven and Amazon DCV
TECOSIM’s partnerships further enhance its service offerings. As the reseller for pSeven in German-speaking countries, TECOSIM provides clients with advanced numerical optimisation, automation, and AI-driven product development capabilities. pSeven, including its desktop application and cloud-native enterprise platform, automates CAD/CAE tools and engineering solutions, facilitating design optimization and predictive modeling. Furthermore, since mid-2024, TECOSIM distributes Amazon-DCV licenses across the Americas, India, EMEA, enabling clients to access graphics-intensive applications and desktops remotely. This technology provides critical advantages in healthcare, engineering, media production, and financial services.

Expert Lectures by TECOSIM Professionals
On April 8th at 9:30 a.m., Team Manager Maria Büttner will present “Process to Generate Analytical Road Load Data,” detailing the integration of measured road stress loads with multi-body simulation (MBS) and the finite element method (FEM) in vehicle design. In her lecture, she will be describing the process that incorporates these road loads into an MBS model. She will also reveal how such a model needs to be constructed, which FEM analyses benefit from this, and how these analyses can be used to optimise during vehicle development.

On April 9th at 9:30 a.m., Technical Manager Dr André Backes will deliver “NVH: Prediction Accuracy of Acoustic Analysis,” discussing methods to enhance simulation efficacy results in acoustics. NVH analyses in virtual product development aim to reduce resonances that cause unwanted noises and vibrations. To achieve this, it is essential to efficiently identify weak points and sensitivities during the development process and gain a thorough understanding of a structure’s fundamental vibration properties. This insight forms the basis for dependable simulations. In his lecture, Dr Backes will emphasize the role of pSeven in optimizing NVH.

Automotive CAE Grand Challenge: A Key Industry Forum
The 17th annual Automotive CAE Grand Challenge serves as a pivotal platform for industry experts to exchange knowledge on calculation and simulation. The conference topics – the current challenges in CAE – are based on a survey of numerous automotive industry experts conducted by the organizer, Carhs. The conference will address critical topics, including ‘AI, machine learning, big data’, road load calculation, casting simulation, and acoustic analysis, reflecting the evolving landscape of automotive engineering.
