TECOSIM signs charter for sustainable management
TECOSIM is one of the first hundred companies to sign the Hessian Charter for Sustainable Business Practices. Member of the TECOSIM Management Board Udo Jankowski held a copy of the signed charter up for the photographers together with other entrepreneurs and Hessian Environment Minister Priska Hinz at the newly launched initiative’s annual conference.
“We find it important that the subject be more visible and discussed even more widely. The initiative gives us the opportunity to network with other companies involved and develop new ideas for action that we can undertake ourselves. Sustainable action is a process that is not completed at some point. It needs to be constantly developed further,” stresses Jankowski (second from left in the photo).
The initiative for sustainable business practices is part of Hesse’s sustainability strategy. The strategy was launched by the Hesse State Government and is a platform for all stakeholders – from companies and society at large through to politicians and administration. The Hesse sustainability strategy comes under the patronage of Minister President Volker Bouffier and Environment Minister Priska Hinz. The business practice initiative forms part of this strategy. The Business Initiative Charter was drawn up jointly by representatives from companies, associations, trade unions and the Protestant Church in recent years.
