TECOSIM at the CAE Grand Challenge on 5 and 6 July

The TECOSIM team will be involved in several ways at the automotive CAE Grand Challenge conference in Hanau on 5 and 6 July. They will be giving a presentation, chairing a session and setting up a stand in the accompanying trade exhibition. This event traditionally focuses on the latest challenges in technical computer simulation and will take place both online and at the Congress Park Hanau as in the previous two years.

The session on integral simulation of vehicles with battery-electric drives will start at 9.30 a.m. on 5 July with Mark Gevers, Director Business Development at TECOSIM GmbH, leading the session. At 11 a.m. on the following day, 6 July, Technical Manager André Backes will give a motivational lecture entitled Optimisation with simulation-based expert knowledge. Gold Sponsor TECOSIM will be showcasing the latest developments in its virtual benchmarking process TEC|BENCH in the trade exhibition.

The Automotive CAE Grand Challenge is an annual event giving industry experts the opportunity to exchange ideas on calculation and simulation and will be celebrating its fourteenth edition this year. The event organiser carhs selected the conference topics, the current Grand Challenges in automotive CAE, based on a survey of numerous CAE experts in the automotive industry. A total of seven topics have been identified. These include multi-simulation, NVH in electric vehicles, interlinking testing and simulation using artificial intelligence and the use of deep learning in optimisation.
