2. Options for submitting an application to TECOSIM

We are pleased that you have taken interest in our company and look forward to receiving your application.

You can apply for a position at TECOSIM, including its existing or future branches, using ourjob portal  Recruitee. In doing so, you provide us with your profile for a specific advertised position or a work experience place. If you are not shortlisted for this position, your data will be automatically deleted after 180 days. However, you will receive an email before this period expires, giving you the opportunity to join our talent pool.

As a member of the talent pool, you make your data available to us for a further 36 months. During this time, your profile will be considered for all open positions.
If you are considered for a vacancy during this time, you will be contacted by us using the contact details we have on file. If your profile is suitable for a vacancy in the context of a temporary employment agency, we would obtain your permission to pass on your data to the (potential) client.
If you are not considered for a vacancy during this time, you will receive an e-mail after 35 months asking whether you would like to remain in the talent pool for a further 3-year period. If you do not respond or respond negatively, your data will be automatically deleted after the 36-month period has expired.

3. Data we process

When you apply, we process the data we receive from your application documents and interviews with you. This may include contact data, all data related to the application (CV, certificates, qualifications, photo, etc.) and, if applicable, data on bank details (for the reimbursement of travel expenses).

We process your data to carry out the application process and to check whether we can offer you the position for which you have applied and employ you with us. The legal basis for this results from Art. 88 para. 1 GDPR in conjunction with §26 para. 1 Sentence 1 BDSG. Insofar as the data are special categories of personal data (such as data relating to your health) that you yourself have provided to us (for example, information about a severely disabled status), the processing is carried out on the legal basis of Art. 9 para. 2 lit. b GDPR in conjunction with §26 para. 3 BDSG.

If you sign an employment contract, we will store your data below for the purpose of implementing the employment relationship. Legal basis of the processing is Art.88 Para. 1 GDPR in conjunction with § 26 para.1 Sentence 1 BDSG.

4. Recipients of your Data

We only pass on your personal data within our company to those areas and persons who need this data to fulfill contractual and legal obligations or to implement our legitimate interests.

Your application for a job posting is made via our job portal Recruitee, which is operated by the external service provider Recruitee GmbH, Grafenberger Allee 277-287, Entrance C, 40237 Duesseldorf (Germany). This service provider has access to your data within the scope of order data processing.

In addition, we use service providers who support us in the areas of hosting, maintenance and support of IT systems as well as archiving and destruction of documents and with whom separate contracts for order data processing have also been concluded.

Otherwise, data will only be passed on to recipients outside the company insofar as

  • legal provisions permit or require this,
  • the transfer is necessary for the fulfillment of legal obligations, or
  • we have your consent.

5. Transfer of your data to a third country

Your data will not be transferred to a third country. Your data will only be stored within the European Union.

6. Deletion of Data

If there is no legal retention period, your data will be deleted as soon as storage is no longer necessary or the legitimate interest in storage has expired. If you are not hired, this is usually no later than six months after completion of the application process.

In individual cases, individual data may be stored for longer periods (e.g. travel expense reports). The duration of storage then depends on the statutory retention obligations from the German Commercial Code or the German Fiscal Code (six or ten years) or the duration of legal proceedings and the subsequent limitation period.

If you have not been hired, but your application is still of interest to us, we will ask you if we may keep your application on file for future openings.

If you sign an employment contract, we will store your data for the duration of the employment relationship. In this case, you will receive further information about the processing of your data in the employment relationship as soon as you start the employment relationship with us.

7. Your Rights

7.1 Revocation of your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke an already given consent at any time for the future. For this purpose, an informal communication by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

7.2 Right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority

In the event of violations of data protection law, the person concerned has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority in matters of data protection law is the State Data Protection Commissioner of the Federal State of Hesse, in which our company has its registered office. A list of the data protection officers and their contact details can be found in the following link:

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.

7.4 Information, blocking, deletion

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing and, if necessary, a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data. For this and other questions on the subject of personal data, you can contact us at any time at the above address.
