For two decades, TECOSIM has been an active player in the virtual benchmarking segment with its TEC|BENCH method, having already completed more than 60 projects for our customers. Engineers often use benchmarking to compare hardware from two competitors. Datapoints such as information on the materials used or the design structure, serve to determine a product’s strengths and weaknesses.

With TEC|BENCH the Digital Twin for unlimited Engineering Benchmarking, TECOSIM takes things to the next level. Our CAE engineers use the hardware data to produce CAE models in several steps, from which we obtain valuable virtual information. This allows us to study aspects of structural mechanics and CFD which cannot be analysed without simulation. Transforming hardware into CAE models provides a direct comparison, leading to the creation of virtual design geometries. This enables TECOSIM to establish a new analysis environment and consequently a distinctive design environment, thus providing our customers a distinct edge over the competition.

Since 2022, TECOSIM has forged a collaborative alliance with A2MAC1, the world’s leading specialist in benchmarking in this segment. TECOSIM and A2MAC1 work together on creating realistic crash and NVH simulation models of electric vehicles, which can then be accessed on the A2MAC1 platform to deliver maximum quality and offer the highest standards.
